Huawei's industrial storage in the C&I sector

there is a suitable industrial storage unit from Huawei. Depending on the application, the size of the industrial memory can be selected in stages.    

Size of the Luna2000 industrial memory from Huawei                

• The smallest and first stage has a storage capacity of 97 kWh
• Other sizes are 129 kWh, 161 kWh and a maximum of 193 kWh
• The housing dimensions are (W x H x D) 2570 x 2135 x 1200 mm in each case
• The industrial storage system weighs up to almost 3 tons, depending on the battery size selected

Location and communication              

The industrial storage unit is primarily intended for outdoor use, which means that it can be placed outdoors without any restrictions (IP55). Two air conditioning systems ensure that the interior/batteries are kept at the right temperature.

To ensure that the industrial storage system can be used extensively for commercial purposes, it is possible to use communication via a Huawei SmartLogger3000 with Modbus TCP.

Performance                    

The power output is provided by a Huawei battery inverter, which converts the DC voltage of the batteries into AC voltage. This happens independently of the battery capacity with a maximum power output of up to 100 kW.

A so-called DC/DC converter is used for constant storage and power output, which ensures that the voltage/power of the batteries is always kept at a predetermined level.    

Security

The installed battery cells are equipped with lithium iron phosphate accumulators, which reduces fire safety and short-circuit behavior to a minimum. A battery module has a grid capacity of 16.13 kWh, weighs approx. 140 kg and has a battery optimizer installed.

A fire extinguishing module is also installed in the enclosure. The cabinet has an integrated, rack-mounted fire extinguishing system that supports active and passive fire extinguishing:

• The fire alarm control panel is pre-integrated.
• The extinguishing agent used is perfluorohexanone, which is characterized by high insulation, environmental protection and rapid fire extinguishing and cooling.

In extreme situations, two explosion relief flaps are provided to ensure pressure equalization, among other things.
